100 years of Black Queer History

Welcome Aboard: The Black Queer History Express. We start on the train from the past to the present.I’m your fabulous Conductor, Cerinass Willdohim, and we’re embarking on a crucial journey of expression, love, and acknowledgment. I’m here to share my deep love for Black Queer History, showcasing how it’s powerfully shaped the world we live in and continues to inspire every next generation. So grab a seat, and come along for the ride. Our train has dazzling stops in every decade, starting all the way back in the 1900s. We’ll be meeting Black Queer Icons who, from the shadows of slavery right up until now, have overcome unimaginable challenges and continue to pave the way.The foundation laid by these icons is what holds us up today. Every brick was set with courage, blood, sweat, and endless tears. It is now up to us—the generations that follow—to take that knowledge, honor that struggle, and continue to lay the road to total liberation. So let’s take the train, get inspired by the legends, and help me lay our next bricks!
